Teaching new crafters is my favorite thing. I do this in a number of ways.
- Workshop: You invite your friend to your house or mine. I demonstrate a number of things and everyone makes one thing. As hostess, you earn hostess benefits based on purchases.
- Class: - Attend one of my scheduled classes or schedule your own with a few of your friends. Depending on the projects or focus of the class, everyone commits to purchase ($25 minimum). If you coordinate the class and there are enough purchases, you receive hostess benefits or your class is free.
- Simply Stamp Time: Each month come and make 3-4 projects. Add 2-4 technique cards to your ring. Purchase a minimum of $25. Accumulate totals to earn hostess benefits. No long-term commitment, come when you can! Meets first Tuesday in the morning or evening. RSVP by the Sunday before.
- One on One – If you have a special project, you need help with or a scrapbook you want to get started on this is for you. Schedule a minimum of 2 hours and let me know what you want to do. $25 in purchases per hour of my time gets you one on one time in my studio. This is a great way complete some of those projects.
If you live to far away to participate in any of these events there are still options:
· Party in a Box – I put together 3 projects for you and your guests to do and mail everything you need to you. You have 2 weeks to get together with your friends, and take orders. You mail the box back (I pay the postage!) You earn the hostess benefits based on sales.
· Class by Mail - Did you see a project or class that you like? Or do you have a project you would like to see? Let me know and we can work out a class by mail and email. I would put together a tutorial with pictures of the steps and necessary instructions, email those to you, and mail you the necessary product to complete the project a “kit.” Minimum cost is $50. You could do this with a friend and I would prep 2 or more “kits” with one emailed tutorial so you could get together and make the projects with your friend.
