Playful Polka Dots Card Stack Class

Wouldn't you love to have a stack of happy cheerful looking cards like these?  Then mark your calendar for August 23, from 10-1 in the morning or 6-9 in the evening.  We will make this stack of great cards!  Cost for the class is $40 and includes a Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' Kit, package of 6" envelopes and package of standard envelopes, plus use of everything you need to create this great stack of cards!

These are fun, simple cards that mailable!  My mom and sister made a bunch of them while they were here and loved them.

Pretty Polka Dot Frame

Well, pretty frame but  not Polka Dot!  That is just the name of the Simply Scrappin' Kit I used on the Bulky frame.

If you have been reading my blog you will know I have been making these seasonal frames for my front entry.  My husband complained that it was past Valentines why didn't we have a new one?  I guess I should be glad he noticed.  So, I quickly ( And I mean quickly less than 30 minutes start to finish!) made this happy frame.  I used the Pretty Polka Dot Simply Scrappin' Kit in the Summer Mini.  Here are some close ups.  Click on the images and you will see a larger view!

The only adhesive I needed was for the words SPRING which I cut using my Big Shot alphabet.  The Designer Series paper in the kit was a little thin so I glued it to a piece of the rose red and then cut them out.  I didn't quite want chipboard.  I used a few dimensionals to keeped popped up.  Of course I had to add some bling.  The words on the little flags are from the word stamp set Fabulous Phrases.  Make one!

Baby Gift Idea

My friend Sue needed to have a new baby gift and I had read about some books that hold cd's of baby pictures.  The idea is a pocket for each month of the first year.  You put the cd with pictures of each month in the pocket and you are all organized.  She thought that sounded awesome so the other day we made some.  The one I saw was in an actual album and I played with the design so that it was a littler simpler.  These books use 1/2 of a Simply Scrapping and then 2 -  6" squares of chipboard.  I used my bind it all but you could tie with ribbon.

This is what a couple of pages look like.  Look for a class on this after the holidays.  Though you could probably figure this out pretty easy.  You could even do this for years of school, or anything else and have a decorative way to store cd's of pictures in an organized way.

Simply Scrappin' I Wish! Best of Both Worlds 2

  This is the cover of the little scrapbook that is made in the Best of Both Worlds 2 Class.  Isn't it cute?  The inside gets even better!

In a couple of hours I scrapped Christmas from last year!  I can't wait to put out my holiday decorations and put this in my living room.  First, I will need to journal!  This is one half of the Best of Both Worlds 2 Class. You have the choice of making 2 of these OR One of these books and 20 cards.

OR 40 cards.  It is totally up to you!   This class is being held on Oct. 22 and you need to RSVP by Oct. 15.  This class is also available as a Class When You Want It and is great to do with a group of friends.  Check out the class information.  Class Schedule .

A reminder - Even if you were unable to attend the Acrylic Album Class you can get this class by mail!  I will have some pictures of the finished project later this week.  It would make a great gift!
