This was quite a project designing. Liz shared with me some invites she had seen and I made some stuff up and we went back and forth until we found one we could both agree on. The printed pieces were made using My Digital Studio. They were made and printed through the service. My Sisters, nieces and Spencer made these all together which make them even more special.

This invite we made with a template from My Digital Studio. The colors were not the right color so we used the cool new tool and changed them to pink! WOOHOO! look how cute. To add a little dimension we made some little cupcakes with Build a cupcake punch and stamp set. Liz's favorite are Funfetti so we tried to make them look like that!

This is what you see when you enter my front door! I finally got it decorated for Halloween. With the recent repainting I re did a lot of stuff and a small shelf in the front entry so I can do some holiday stuff was part of it.
The framed art on the left was made by my friend Dena Rekow. She gave us the framable art at convention. I have been haunting thrift stores and collecting picture frames and then spray painting.
Here is a close up! I thought it was so clever!
The printer tray on the right is the one you could earn when you signed up a new demonstrator or as a new demonstrator.
Yep, those are my two kiddos many years ago!
The garland was a brainstorm of my friend Julie Beltramo. She used the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit, from the Holiday Seasonal, page 27.
The subway art is a downloadable template for My Digital Studio! It is really simply and I just added the banner. This was an idea from my friend Elizabeth Price.

Recently I worked on a booth with Elizabeth Price for the Santa Clara Scrapbook Expo. I was unable to attend but help put the stuff together and made many of the projects for the booth. Here is a slideshow of the booth.

I’m back! I know it’s been a long time since Tami’s daughter, me, has done a blog! I’ve been busy with entering the real world! I’ve moved up to Port Orchard, Washington, and I love it! If you all know anything about me, you know how much I love volleyball. One thing I was so blessed to get to do this year was coach a club volleyball team up here. My co-coach and I worked with a group of 13-15 year old girls for four and a half months showing them my love for the sport! I had so much fun and cannot wait to coach them next year. Here are my girls:
Throughout the whole season I saw a piece of me in all my girls, and I wanted to give them something special for the end of the year. Since I have been around Stampin’ Up for all my life, that I can remember, I combined it with volleyball. This was one of my favorite projects because I got to use My Digital Studio, which for someone like me is perfect. I work about 45-50 hours a week between athletic training and coaching so having something that I can do at home during a TV show or while Spencer makes dinner is perfect. I sat down to make this project and about an hour later I was done! If you are someone who wants to do stamping My Digital Studio is perfect for you! It is so easy to use and a lot of fun! Enough about My Digital Studio, and back to my project.
Our club’s colors were hot pink and black, so I stuck with Melon Mambo as the background, then used Basic Black and Whisper White as the accent colors. I wanted to highlight the team aspect with using only team pictures. My main focus was the one of us all cheering right before our game. To make this one stand out I put a Basic Black frame around it, this way everyone was drawn to that picture. I basically added detail little by little, using as little as possible. I did not want it to be too busy, but still cute. I used the Basic Black Texture stamp to break up the plain color in the background. This seemed to make it a little more personable then just using a designer series background. My favorite part of this project is the stamp set I used. I mixed the Certified and Cute Cues to even more personalize this gift. I do admit, I still call my mom to make sure she thinks it is just as cute as I do! She agreed and said “this is adorable and the girls will love it!” The girls absolutely loved the Genuine and Remember stamps.
Here is my finished project:
I put them in wood black frames to give to the girls so they could put it up on their wall and remember the fun we had throughout the year. I even kept the color scheme going and wrapped it in pink wrapping paper with black ribbon!

I know it’s a little blurry…I didn’t have my camera so it’s taken on my iPhone! But they loved it and so did the parents!

As part of the Bridal Shower, we wanted to have a display of pictures of the bride and groom to be. I have this cool vintage wreath so we had the bride send us a bunch of pictures of the two of them. Using My Digital Studio, I changed all the photos to black and white so they had some continuity. Then I did some simple overlays and texturing to soften them.
We set this on one of the tables at the shower so everyone could see. I just love how quick and simple this was. I printed the pictures on Whisper White cardstock and they looked lovely!

My friend asked me to help her with her niece's bridal shower. To get started we looked at Jennifer's Pinterest boards and got a sense of what she liked. We then had to do an invitation. My friend and I have done parties together before and our least favorite part is coming up with the wording for the invite. As I started to look online I remembered that My Digital Studio had just released a Bridal Shower Invite template. So we quickly downloaded it.
While we loved the layout and most importanly the wording. A few quick changes and little added pinwheel and this is what the invite looked like.
way too cute! My friend recieved emails saying this was the cutest they had ever seen.
I loved how quick and easy it was to do the invite with My Digital Studio and by adding the little pinwheel it just jazzed it up.

I can't believe on Monday I will get to see the new Stampin' Up! catalog online! Yeah, for being a demonstrator. By the end of the week I will have my copy in my hot little hands. Hopefully in time to read on the plane trip to spend Mother's Day Weekend with my daughter!
Today's samples I am going to share are from my INKERBELLES! Directs Group dinner at Leadership in San Antonio this past January. We are all getting excited for Convention in Salt Lake City in July. I have a couple of my directs attending for the first time! WAHOO!
I LOVED this card by my golf buddy and demonstrator Olive. I even changed it slightly and we made it at Simply Stamp Time. The Mocha Morning Designer Series Paper is retiring. I am going to miss it. But I am excited to see what is in store! But be sure to get some if you want before it is gone. Check out the retiring lists before the month ends.
This card was made by Elizabeth P. I just love her attention to the little details. I am so glad that First Edition is hanging around. I was holding my breath awhen I read the retriing list. I even had a couople of my demonstrators send me emails knowing how relieved I would be. I was in charge of the Twitterpated part of the booth. You may wonder what it takes to pull together the booth. Well, it takes a creative mind in the person of Elizabeth Price. We have usually worked out of one of the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogs - this naturally narrows down the selection and gives us a piece of literature to hand out to everyone that is cost effective. Each of us is assigned a group of products to work with. We discuss what types of projects we think would look good in that product suite. We surf the web a lot for ideas we can transfer to Stampin' Up! Products.
One of the hot items in papercrafting right now is shadow boxes and specimen art. I did a few shadow boxes for the booth.
This shadow box was part of our wedding tableau that highlighted our My Digital Studio Progam. More about this area in a later post. I made this shadow box using the pictures of my son's wedding. For those of you who have seen some of the stuff I did for his wedding (click wedding in the categories on the right) you will know these were not their colors but they worked. This box took me just a little it of time. I used a variety of products from the Twitterpated Product Suite in the Occasions Mini. I thought it looked lovely.
This shadow box I did for my Daughter. Pink is our color. I printed the picture using an embellishement from the Downtown Grunge Template download for My Digital Studio. Again this took me no time at all but how fun and some great memories!
Haven't decided if I am giving this to her but if she reads my blog and asks I might say yes!
The other two shadow boxes I did were in the specimen art style. One I did with the Tea Shoppe stamp set which is also in the Occasions Mini but not really in any of the "suites."
I did cut apart the triple tea cup stamp so that I could easily stamp each of the cups seperately and punch them out easiily. Here are some details of each of the cup styles and the label. You can click on them to make them larger!

Today is my Birthday! I just got back from a week in the desert, where I got to golf 5 days in a row in warm lovely weather! It was a great way to celebrate! I brought my computer with every intention of working but just had too much fun relaxing. Now it is back to reality. Simply Stamp Time is one week away! AHHH! A year ago today we were celebrating my son's wedding! What a day! It was a weekend of fun, family and friends and a lovely celebration of Chris & Emily! Just what a wedding should be. You can see some of the fun things I did for the wedding here.
I sent an anniversary card to them. Chris is still in Kuwait but I know Emily will save it to show him when he gets back (hopefully next month).
I saw this idea with a heart punch somewhere and thought how gorgeous. Using the negative of a punch is such a cool look. I ran the layer through the Big Shot with the polka dot embossing folder and put pink striped Designer Series Paper from the stacks underneath. A little tag and a center on one flower and you have a simple quick card. The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes - my go to greeting set and great because you know they all fit in the word window punch which layers lovely with the modern label punch. Here is a close up.
The little organdy ribbon frosting I think just gives it a little softness.

This is the front of our Holiday Card this past year. Needless to say the wedding was the big deal so it got front and center. I have always tried to do my card with the picture(s) and note being combined. I always wanted them to have a finished look to them. Now with My Digital Studio it is easy.
The inside was our letter with more pictures. I just love that I can easily and quickly put in a few pictures highlighting our year. I love reading and looking at the pictures of people we get cards from every year. I couldn't let the back be blank.
I just love that picture! I got so many comments on the quality of the cards and pictures and people just loved the pictures.

My group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators is called INKERBELLES! It is a group of over 2000 demonstrators all over the country! I have over 60 that are direct to me either because I recruited them or because the people who were between me and them have dropped. I love communicating and helping them have fun build businesses at the level they would like. One of the things I do is a monthly incentive for these directs.
Each month when they meet certain goals, or for their first year as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator they recieve a project from along with some product. I hope this helps them have things to demonstrate for their customers and helps them try new things that maybe they couldn't afford to try or weren't sure was their style. This months card is an My Digital Studio Hybrid Card. This means that I printed the card through My Digital Studio and then added to it to give it a little dimension. The reason I did this is I wanted to give everyone the Pick your Poison Quick Accents and Designer Series Paper and I couldn't figure out how to make enough different cards with the Pick Your Poison. I realized then I should print a card with those items and then add some strips from the Quick Accents since there were plenty of these.
This is what you get in the Quick Accents. Each of these sheets are 12 x 12. You can see how hard it would be to make 30 similar cards using this but how easy it was to use the paper ribbons. Each of the cards I made had a different paper strip down the side.
I added a rhinestone at the bottom that I colored black with a permanent marker. I also spritzed with Platinum Shimmer paint that I mixed in a hand sanitizer. I thought the card turned out cute. Here is the original My Digital Studio card before I hybrided it!
As you can see cute as is but way cuter with the additions.

The reason I do this incentive is most of those directs live all over the country and cannot benefit from meetings as other groups do. I do do 3 meetings a year at my house for those Stampin' Up! I recently started an incentive program for everyone in my downline, that when they promote to supervisor or above they get to pick some free Stampin' Up! merchandise. The higher the promotion the more product! SWEET! Well, I had to figure out how to notify them of this reward in an easy and efficient way. My Digital Studio to the rescue. I made a card for each title level. The message inside is printed with what they recieve and then I put the instructions to claim their reward on the back.
I used the templates that are pre-designed in the program so I didn't have to spend a lot of time.
These are the four designs so far for the four titles that occur the most frequently. So far everyone who has recieved them has loved the reward and most comment about how cool the My Digital Studio card is and that they were going to have to do more with the program because they didn't realize how cool the print products were.

Hey Everyone, its Liz again! It's time for a little blog from me!
So in case you guys forgot, it was Father's Day this past Sunday. My dad always says he never has pictures of me at his work and how I should put something together for his desk. So that is exactly what I did. Sadly, my dad and I don't take many pictures together, so it took awhile to find some pictures.
I decided to put all the few pictures together in a 5x7 card on My Digital Studio. I love black and white frames, but didn't want a dark background on my frame. My mom gave me the idea to make a few pictures sepia tone to give it a cool vibe/feeling. I kept the cutest picture of us big and centered, while making a few others sepia tone. One thing I did notice was that having a big mat around the main picture does make it stick out more. Some people try and put a small mat, but the bigger gives it a little more attention.
While working on My Digital Studio, I got frustrated trying to make everything straight and evenly spaced. I learned that there is a button on the top that looks like 3 papers floating on top of each other. To get something in a line you can play with the different settings to get them in line, or centered or vertically/horizontally on the page. I love that playing around on My Digital Studio is so easy and fun!
My Digital Studio is so easy to use, I've done a few projects on it and have always been so surprised how you can add so many little touches so quickly. I love to add a little interesting touch to things so I decided to put a few antique brads in the bottom corner, and used the stamp set that looks like the brads in the opposite corner.

Once I had finished it all, I decided to get a frame that was in the same sepia tone, I ended with a wood accent frame! I love it and hope you do too!

For my husband's birthday this past weekend, I finally finished the album of his umpire experience in Poland, Summer of 2009. His passion is umpiring for Little League and spends most of his spare time doing that and spent 10 days at a tournament in Poland in 2009 and will be going again this summer. He kept a blog of his experience and I turned it into a scrapbook for him. You can read the details of the experience here Don's Poland Umpire Blog. Here are just a few of the pages.
I wanted to give it the feel of a journal so I used the journal paper from the Love Letters download. The rick rack and other strips are from the Terrific Trims. The papers for the stars and trips uses the Desktop calendar papers download. I made it looked like all the papers and pictures were stapled or taped.
A local photographer came and took pictures of games to sell aso some of these great action shots I was able to get from him.
As you can see my husband takes his umpiring seriously. The cool thing about this book is it is a way for him to share this experience and something his grandkids will get to see to learn more about their grandfather. That is what is so important about getting these things down.

I have been a digital scrapbooking queen lately trying to get as many albums done and printed this month! The one I am going to share with you today is not really an album but it is. I made this book as a guest book for my son's wedding. It turned out really cool. It looks familiar because I used the same photos that I used in a previous album of their engagement photos.

What was really nice is that people wrote short paragraphs and were spread throughout the book. When I started the book I wasn't sure how I was going to make the lines but one of the digital downloads released right then was Thoughtful Overlays which had the lines as an overlay and was quick and easy. Emily and Chris really enjoy this book!

With all the rain lately, I have had a lot of time at home since my golf has been canceled! AHHH! But the good news is that I have been getting caught up on some scrapbooks. This one just arrived in the mail today.

A quick Sale-A-Bration break. More of the 36 cards coming tomorrow but I thought I would give you a little change of pace.
My friend asked me if I could wrap up a birthday gift certificate for a friends 50th birthday. Oh, did I have anything that went with hot air balloons? Sounded like a challenge. Here is what I came up with.
I actually ended up changing out the balloon to a 50 printed out on My Digital Studio. Forgot to take a picture after I made the change! It looked way cute.
This is the top of the box I made using a 12 x 12 piece of Textured Basic Black Cardstock that I then sprayed with Silver Foil Smooch Spray.
The first picture is of the 12 x 12 piece of paper cut and scored. You wrap it up and then place the lid on to hold it together then when it opens you see the card and the gift certificate was rolled up inside. Here is the card.
To gather the wide grosgrain I pulled a thread in the middle and then stuck it to two strips of sticky strip. The glimmer brads on the end hold the ends down great. The stamp is from Bring on the Cake. I used the Pearlized Silver Fox Pearlized Smooch Paint to accent the 5 and 0 but it didn't accent the th enough. Instead I punched it out with the little circle punch in the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and put it on top of a punched piece of basic black using another punch from the punch pack. Layering on the scalloped square made from with the Big Shot die in the Occasions Mini.

I decided to go with the Sweet & Sour Designer Series Specialty Paper for this stamp set. The colors in this paper are Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie. The paper has some shiny embossed images which is why it is a specialty paper. It is really cool!
I have decided the First Edition Designer Series Paper can be used in place of Very Vanilla. I can't get enough of this paper and since 24 sheets come in a pack it goes a long way. It is now available in Digital for My Digital Studio which I plan to download soon! So back to the sample. I used ribbon rosettes (Occasions Mini) Glimmer Brads,(Occasions Mini) Designer Brads and trinkets to make the little arrangement around the heart stamp. I love the little key hanging and a little smooch spritz.
I figured out the trick to the little images in this set is to create a focal image.
It is hard to tell in the picture but the various scalloped squares use paper that have shiny embossing on them. The strip for the greeting is from the Petal Cone Die (Occasions Mini) I love the little Sweet Stitches covered button and of course a layer of First Edition Designer Series Paper.

I don't normally post on Sunday - but today is 3 weeks until THE WEDDING! Yesterday I spent most of the day on My Digital Studio doing wedding stuff so I thought I would share a My Digital Studio project with you. It is not a wedding project. I will wait until after the wedding to share with you some of the cool stuff I have done.
Isn't this just lovely? I made this journal with My Digital Studio for my direct downline that attended Leadership. I have been pressed for time and I wanted something cool for them. It took me about 45 minutes total and I just love the look. Here are some close-ups.
The pages inside are all lined and it has a cool ribbon place marker attached.
You can even put words on the binding. I the designs use many of the images from the Occasion Mini Springtime Vintage Suite. All of the product in the Mini Occasions is available for download to My Digital Studio.

Happy New Year! Here is an idea to get you started on your Holiday giving for Christmas 2012.
Each year my family does a calendar. Since Stampin' Up! came out with My Digital Studio I have used the digital calendar template to make it. Everyone sends me pictures and I put them together! I turned this years into a movie with music for your enjoyment!

If you would like to do one for your family let me know! Don't wait until the last minute. Make a file on your computer in your pictures and start copying pictures as you get them from your family or take them through the year. By next November you will only need to plug them in and order them. I promise you will be the hit! My family can't wait for mine!

About 2 weeks before Christmas, my husband decided he wanted me to make a My Digital Studio album for his family of some old family photos! WHAT? Well, the good wife that I am, I told him if he got the pictures scanned I would do something and if he was lucky they would make it here by Christmas but I wasn't making promises. So using My Digital Studio, I made an album for him to give. I made a video with some music to it to share with you! Enjoy!

So you will get to see my Holiday Card before they are actually sent! I was a little late but they will go out before I leave on vacation - if they arrive. I did them in My Digital Studio. This is the new Tri-Fold card design. The total size of this card is 9 x 12. Each panel is 4". I love that I can combine photos with my letter in one product. The weight of the cardstock is really nice. I think there is some real possibility to use this card size for weddings. Here is a picture of one I used to send to some downline. I used the actual template that comes in the update.
