I know I gave you a whole week of Halloween - but I did reserve theright to show a few more here and there! This is one of the projects we made at September Simply Stamp Time. The large Trick or Treat image is using one of the letterpress plates for the Big Shot. It is a tricky process but one of my customers requested to try them at the Simply Stamp Time and since I try to please we gave it a shot. I have to say most of my customers were not impressed but all were glad they had had the chance to try it and said that was the best part of going to classes is to see what they liked and didn't! The stripes on the bottom is from the letterpress plate in the Holiday Mini, Festive Finishes Pick a Pattern. We used versamark on it. I don't know if you can tell from the picture but you do get some debossing from these letterpress plates. I personally loved the little embellishment I created for the card. I punched the skull from one of the sheets of Pick Your Poison Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini. Added a little punched piece of the silver glimmer paper (yeah, Holiday Mini) then stamped Boo from the Tiny Tags stamp set in the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog onto the little vintage tags and it was too cute.
Simply Stamp Time is a great time to come make fun projects and try new things. Come join us!
