One of my downline - Dena R. shared this great idea with me. Dena be sure to claim your free stamps! She even put together this awesome tutorial. Enjoy! Be sure to go all the way to the end to see more samples.
I was looking at the cover of our latest Stampin Success magazine
and I noticed the adorable “Love” card made with the Love Bandit set, and I
realized that the word “ LOVE “ came off of our I {Love} Love wheel. And, I of course love the set, I {Heart}
Hearts that it coordinates with—and even more since it is the set for the
Haitian relief campaign. So, I am a lazy
stamper by nature, and decided I needed a way to use that “LOVE” without inking
and rolling it…so of course I ordered myself another wheel and here is what I
did:

Here is the wheel….Now look for the seam on the wheel:

Cut along the seam with a craft knife.

The rubber peels off easily (though sometimes some of the
adhesive remains on the rubber—it rubs off easily.

Take your craft and rubber scissors (you need a use for
them, now, don’t you!) and carefully cut apart the images. You can actually get 18-19 different images
out of the wheel (depending on how you cut them) Here is what I came up with:

Trim the rubber really close like you used to do with your
old un-diecut stamps. Now that we have
clear blocks you can use the images on the clear blocks. I just put a line of sticky strip on an A, B,
C and H block and could use every piece.
The H block is for the long, Heart to Heart.

The picture shows the sticky strip on the rubber…but it stays
on the block once you put it on and then I re-used it SEVERAL times and it was
still good and sticky to interchange with the various pieces of rubber. Remember I said I was a lazy stamper, right? This works great!

Here is what it looks like mounted—and even with no cushion
it stamped just fine…I made several projects with the different images and was
very pleased with how they came out—I had a little bit of ink picked up on the
edges of the block (especially when it was a smaller image on a larger block)
but just wipe it of f and you are good to go!
The other thing is when I pulled the Sticky strip off (again, after
several uses) it came right off with no problems—and that was after it sat
overnight.
How do you store these little gems?

I put down 2 pieces of sticky strip in my I {Heart} Hearts
case and then a third on the opposing side and they all fit perfectly! (and better yet, I got them to fit back in a
second time!)

Everything sticks great!
Here are some
projects:

This card is similar to one Tami did at a recent local
event.

This one is probably my favorite because you could never do
this with out a stamp positioner on woodblocks…and remember…I’m a lazy
stamper…it takes to long to dig that thing out!
I pacticed the positioning of each image on a scrap piece of paper until
I found a nice-looking combo!
This is a 3x3 Love note.

Don’t forget about the wheel as a whole…it is still great! So you really need to order 2 wheels!

The background is wheeled in this card, as well—just hard to
see.

I Lied…this is my favorite…based loosely on a card that
Shannon West made at Leadership.
The background is wheeled in this card, as well—just hard to
see.
You can also do this with other wheels:
Batty (p. 26 of main catalog)
Bright Blessings (p. 27 of main catalog)
Hero (p. 67)
Friendly Words (p. 100)…you do have to sacrifice one or two
of these just because the words are interlocked on different sayings…but this
is a FABULOUS wheel to cut apart!!
It’s Beautiful (p. 106) while this does not have any words,
it has some great images that are not in any set, that would be fun to use on
their own!
