Recently, I had a group of ladies to my home for a private class. This group of ladies schedule a class with me 3-4 times a year. They requests certain kinds of card but no Big Shot. They are big crafters but don't want to start something new. It doesn't seem like work when they come (but most classes don't!). Here are are a couple of projects that we made.
This card uses the Beau Chateu Designer Series Paper (one of the choices for Buy 3 get 1 free August Special.) The 1" strips of paper were inserted into the 1" circle punch from the back and used to punch the rounded ends. The Build a Cupcake punch is just too stinkin' cute and then add a little glimmer cherry on top!
This was another card. The Fabulous Florets Stamp set with the Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper (also available in the Buy 3 get 1 free) is a great combination. The Lace Ribbon Border Punch is such an elegant touch. Sometimes though I think it is a bit wide and the Wide grosgrain ribbon is also too wide for me, so I cut the ribbon in half which gives it the frayed edge on one side and then laying it over the lace ribbon border it makes that seem a little narrower. We added a couple of glimmer brads and cute simple card! Check out the other card we made that day - Blossom Punch Card.
Get a group of your friend (4 minimum) and plan your private class. You bring the snacks and I will provide the fun projects.
